Hi guys! My name is Irene Seto and I am the writer behind Mint & Heritage. I’m a born-and-raised Calgarian so that makes me a bit of a unicorn right?! I’m also left-handed, a Taurus sign and an Ox on the Chinese Zodiac so I feel like my bull-headedness is beyond EXTRA, and a lover of all the cute bunnies that populate Calgary city parks. #LetsLeadLadies

Get breakfast, lunch and dinner at this spot featuring seasonally inspired Canadian fare. 🍽️ @theprowbanff is off the beaten path up Tunnel Mountain inside the beautiful @buffalomountainlodge. Their menu features mountain-themed tapas, game meats and other shareable dishes that your entire party will enjoy. The perfect spot to relax apres ski and get away from the bustle of town. 🍽️ @lupobanff sits above Wolf Street giving amazing views to see the mountains and streetscape below. This Italian restaurant has all the classics from pizza to meatballs to house made pasta (you can even watch them make it at the viewing window). Their cocktail menu is also excellent - try them out at happy hour to get a taste! Pineapple Hall features some of @concordegroup’s most popular brands all in one spot: 🍔 @cliveburger 🍕@doublezeropizza 🌮@surfysurfybar 🍱@lonelymouthbar ☕️@needsmustcafe 🍸@thepigeonholebar This place has proven to be busy for the downtown work crowd but it wasn’t too bad in a Sunday afternoon but, I can see it getting crowded on the weekends once people realize it’s an option. I really liked how they do the one ordering stop for all the main foods so it’s less wandering around trying to decide what to get. They gave QR menus around too so easy to see what’s available. OSAKA 🇯🇵SNACKATHON IN A BOX! @tokyotreat is OSAKA 🇯🇵SNACKATHON IN A BOX! @tokyotreat is a Japanese-based subscription snack box. Each month, the snack box pulls together the yummiest treats from Japan. This month’s theme is treats from Osaka, inspired by the city’s iconic eats. There were 14 different items in my box which I found super impressive. A full English guide tells you exact what’s in the box as all the labels are in Japanese and it clearly identifies allergens and ingredients which is super helpful for me. I found the shipping pretty quick - the label says everything was packaged in Japan, but I did notice my tracking was shipped from Ontario so I imagine there’s a centralized distribution centre there. This is a pretty fun gift to order for the Japanese lover!
