I really liked how they do the one ordering stop for all the main foods so it’s less wandering around trying to decide what to get. They gave QR menus around too so easy to see what’s available. OSAKA 🇯🇵SNACKATHON IN A BOX! @tokyotreat is OSAKA 🇯🇵SNACKATHON IN A BOX! @tokyotreat is a Japanese-based subscription snack box. Each month, the snack box pulls together the yummiest treats from Japan. This month’s theme is treats from Osaka, inspired by the city’s iconic eats. There were 14 different items in my box which I found super impressive. A full English guide tells you exact what’s in the box as all the labels are in Japanese and it clearly identifies allergens and ingredients which is super helpful for me. I found the shipping pretty quick - the label says everything was packaged in Japan, but I did notice my tracking was shipped from Ontario so I imagine there’s a centralized distribution centre there. This is a pretty fun gift to order for the Japanese lover! I was lucky to join in on their self- care session making my own body scrubs with the @apothecaryyyc team. We also sampled Don Julio tequilas, munched on snacks from Fonda Fora and had a great night out overall. Future events include a wreath making class and a puppy pampering class - and of course there will be tequila.
