Sounds like Whitney Houston Jam

One of my favourite songs of all-time is Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” It’s catchy, it’s dancy, and just plain fun. That’s probably why I gravitate so to Betty Who‘s “Somebody Loves You”. It has that same catchy chorus and title lyric that mimics “Dance” to the t. The song is the pure 80’s, pop-synth vibe that’s hot right now and is super fun to listen to.

The Australian artist is ahead of her game as the song has been available since 2012. But it’s been picking up steam with last October’s album release, Take Me When You Go. While this song has Whitney vibes, a more accurate comparison would probably be with Sweden’s pop queen Robyn. I look forward to hearing more from Betty Who.
