Donate your dresses to Gown Town

Doing a little spring cleaning and ready to empty out your closet? Marlborough Mall’s Gown Town charity event needs your help! Calgarians are being asked to drop off their gently used formal dresses for the mall’s annual fashion round-up. For every dress you drop off, you’ll be entered into a draw to win a $250 shopping spree at Marlborough Mall.

All the dresses will be made available to help out students with their upcoming graduation festivities. Dresses will be put on sale for only $10 – making it an affordable way for young women to find the dress of their dreams on a great budget. It’s also a wonderful way to repurpose those beautiful dresses just sitting in your closet and gathering dust. What a better way to make a young woman’s dream night come true with the perfect dress? The Gown Town sale will take place on April 9 at Marlborough Mall from 12-4pm. Another bonus is that all proceeds will go to the Women in Need Society which does great work to help women in low-income situations.

Dresses are being accepted until April 8. Drop them off at the Marlborough Mall customer service desk.
