Living Green Workshops at Calgary Home + Garden Show

The Calgary Home + Garden Show is coming up on February 25-28 and is ready to help you find inspiration for all the spaces inside and outside your house. It’s alway fun to wander through the many aisles to look at all the home finishings, appliances and decor available to make your house a home.

This year, the Home Show is bringing hands-on creativity to the BMO Centre with the Living Green workshops. The experts from Blue Grass Garden Centre in Balzac are setting up shop to help event goers create their own hanging air plant terrarium or shadow box planter. Take home a little touch of green to get you through the last stretch of Calgary’s winter. Blue Grass has all the moss, ferns, succulents and sand for you to build your own unique indoor garden to take home. The cost is approximately $30-$45 depending on the planter you choose.

Stop by the Corral anytime during the show and you’ll get first-hand instruction on how to make your own terrarium.
